What was the Hat Stampede?
The "Big Hat Stampede" of 1895 was a campaign by Kansas City journalists designed as propaganda to get women to remove their massive Hats within the Coates Opera House.
This event was successful at removing the hats, which resulted in directly attacking Hatdaya followers.
Scholars of the Hat became hunted after this event, causing much of our knowledge to be scattered into smaller videos or text fragments.
